Black Friday and Cyber Monday are fantastic opportunities for anyone who has something to sell to make more significant profits. The whole planet is expecting to get some great deals.
Your list is expecting you to offer them some exciting offers.
That’s right; they already know they are going to spend their dollars. So how do we make the most ok it and ensure they’re spending their money on us?
Easy! We get ready…
We get ready, and we follow the steps below.
STEP 1 | GENERATE BUZZ
As said, people expect you to offer exciting sales. Media are spamming with promotional messages already. So it is your responsibility to make your audience know what you are bringing to the table.
In today’s digital world, it is pretty easy to get the message out
ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Update your facebook cover with your offer
Update your profile picture with a congruent image and story about your sales
Do Lives
Post organically
Boost your best posts
Invite people to become your VIP and receive EXCLUSIVE offers and early access.
EMAIL YOUR LIST
Tease them about your upcoming sales
Make them feel special by always adding value
Give your list a sneak peek
Invite them to become your VIP and receive EXCLUSIVE offers and early access.
SOCIAL MEDIA ADS
Before you start with social media ads, make sure you know what you are doing. Take a class. Learn the skillset. Become an expert so that you know what you are doing, and you don’t end up spending time and money with no return on your investment.
Social Media ads are so much fun when you know where you are going. If you don’t, it can be very overwhelming, time-consuming, and disappointing.
If you want to learn more about it, I would like to invite you to book a FREE 30-minutes with me so I can tell you everything I know about it and help you get started.
Facebook ads are fantastic for many things:
Add people to your list and grow your audience
Reach out to more people with stories
Qualify and customize your audience with video and engagement campaign
Build social proof which is one of the most potent weapons of influence
You can use ads in many ways:
Engagement
Video views >> brand awareness
Build your list
Drive traffic to your site
Convert people into customers
Invite them to become VIP
Boost your sales
And so much more. Depending on where you are at and what are your objectives, you can customize your strategy so that you make the most of every penny you spend on ads.

STEP 2 | CREATE EXCLUSIVITY
After you generated the buzz and created momentum with your target audience, you want to make them feel special.
GIVE THEM EXTRA VALUE
Always. That’s the number one goal when you want to build a sustainable business and want your audience to buy from you.
Do not neglect the KNOW, LIKE & TRUST phase.
Create exclusive content for your promotion
Offer them FREE one-on-one session so you can give them personalized content
Create a unique experience, a unique roadmap to exclusive sales
CREATE YOUR VIP LIST
One of the things that work very well when you want to create exclusivity is to go the extra mile with your audience.
Inviting them to become a VIP member will make your audience feel extra special.
It’s easy to offer, even if you do not have a VIP offer just yet.
Here some ideas of what being a VIP may mean:
They get early access (1 to 2 days before the promo)
They receive extra value (free shipping, free gift wrap, free bonuses…)
They may get an additional discount
They may get first access to a limited quantity offer.
Think out of the box and make it hard for them to refuse. Make it exceptional.
Be consistent and committed to follow up and send emails again and again. Did you know that it takes 7 touches on average before someone makes a purchase? So be patient. IT WILL HAPPEN ANYWAY. I promise.
STEP 3 | PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY
You may think that’s the least we can do.
You might be surprised as well to know that one of the most common mistakes that marketers make is to not offer and provide an opportunity for their audience to buy.
There are several things you can do to ensure that your audience knows about your sales. You can use all the tools you want. My favorites are email marketing, organic post, and advertising.
Always make sure people know about your sales
Make it easy for them to buy - you can use an email sequence for that
Stay on top of your audience mind with your messages
There is a “funnel” (or roadmap) that works very well when it comes to boosting sales.
Advertise to the right audience
Create your VIP list
Emails them - Give value
Offer sale

How To Turn Likes Into Clients
Building a business is fine, but building a brand is excellent. When you build a business, you always searching for your next client for your next sale. While it can bring immediate income, this tactic is not sustainable. You are chasing and using marketing technics to find clients instead of attracting them. Chances are you are going to burn you out before you know it.
However, building your brand is sustainable and will allow you to attract clients.
What would you prefer: attracting a warm audience directly to you or chasing a cold audience, hoping to get lucky and find what you’ve been looking for?
I was on training this morning, and I learned that you need to work only four elements for your brand to take off.
Are you ready?
NUMBER 1 | YOUR MESSAGE
Your message is the thing that well-serve your audience.
So, I am asking you, “what’s the thing that you do and is serving well your audience?”
Your message is the gift that you share with the world. The message that you have been called to communicate to your audience.
Lewis Howes
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE YOUR GIFT TO THE WORLD
Maybe you know it already, perhaps you don’t. Either way, it always positive to reassess where we are at and make sure that the message we deliver is not confusing for our audience.
From my experience and my education, there are questions you can ask yourself that will help you determine what your message is.
Take a not pen and a pad, and answer to my questions:
What is your big goal - what’s your vision? Maybe your big vision is to be able to help one million people; perhaps it is to help your first client
Notice that I chose the “help” instead of getting. It is an important distinction because when your desire is backed by inspiration and service, you removed all the blocks and disbeliefs you may have.
What’s your unique story? You can have more than one.
Your unique story is what makes you different from anybody else. By being unique, you remove all competition because no one is just like you.
What’s your personal value level? You can calculate your P.V.L. by clicking the link below.

What are the values you hold true?
Who is your target audience?
Those questions will help you clarify your message. Once you have your message, you start building and growing your reputation and brand toward your unique intelligence.
NUMBER #2 | THE METHOD
Once you have your clear message, you need to find a vehicle, a distribution channel to get that message out to the world.
The method must comply with your genius zone.
If you do not know what method is yours, my recommendation would be to choose one that gives you the lowest path of resistance way for the message to come out when you are in your flow state.
Start to make a list of what you like and dislike to do. Then choose something that you can do every day without feeling bored, annoyed, frustrated, or any negative feeling that will push you to procrastinate in the long run.
Below are some examples:
Document
Teach
Create
Interview
Coach
Write
From there you have to distribute you best content to people the way they want to consume it: it is with videos, or podcast, maybe it is with a long blog post. Find a format that brings you joy.
The key here is to enjoy the process of giving consistent value for FREE to build your brand, reputation, and audience.
Last but not least, find the method that brings out your best content and give so much value that people feel like they owe you.
Lewis Howes
NUMBER #3 | YOUR MARKETING
Marketing is the art of getting the right audience to say “yes.”
When you know your message and you have your method, you become a content machine.

Becoming a content machine means that:
You know how to cut your content into different formats so you can use them on different platforms. The key here is to know how to repurpose your content and maximize your work.
You use your content to build your audience.
You convert your audience into your email list with lead magnets that are 1/ high value, 2/ problem solver, and 3/ easily consumable.
You amplify your reach with mainstream actions when you have a brand (we are not there yet, so don’t freak out!)

NUMBER #4 | MONETIZATION
What to sell, how to do it, and when to sell?
Any idea?
I am sure you do, but let’s do a quick recap on how to keep moving forward when you choose to build your brand first.
STEP #1 | You build your runway for the bigger play.
You must wonder how?
Easy. I promise.
You get people on you list
You email them once, twice, three times a week. It does not matter how many times. What matters is how consistent you are. The more consistent, the better and faster results you will get.
You build your distribution channel: the path to your high-end products. We could call that a funnel.
You don’t burn your leads - no spamming - you give give give, before you even think of selling.
STEP #2 | YOU SELL BEFORE IT’S READY
It’s what we call the minimum viable offer. And it’s awesome because with this strategy,
You limit the time and money involved
You presell your free offer before spending time creating - you actually know how people respond to your offer before putting the hours working on it.
You refine and iterate your message.
You deliver and get REAL testimonials.
STEP #3 | YOU SELL LIKE A BRAND
But what do brands sell?
Programs
Events
Books
Ads
Memberships
Speaking opportunities
Courses, etc.
OVER TO YOU KNOW!
Have you found you signature offer? I believe that as marketers we all have a signature offer. It’s like any chef, we do things the way we do them and that’s what makes us unique.
That’s also why, we must believe that the only competition we have to deal with is the one with ourselves.
What’s you take away from this post? I am curious to hear where you are at and how you see the future of your brand and business.

How To Choose The Right Business For Your Personality
Network marketing and affiliate marketing is not for everyone. We covered that already! As much as it can be an ideal solution for people who do not have a lot of capital to invest, it is not a quick fix to make money.
Network marketing and affiliate marketing is not for everyone.
We covered that already!
As much as it can be an ideal solution for people who do not have a lot of capital to invest, it is not a quick fix to make money.
Nor a field that everyone can do, although everyone can do it because skills can be learned. It then becomes a question of preferences.
Does network marketing or affiliate marketing fit your personality? Maybe. Maybe not!
So, first thing first…
What is your income goal? What is your lifestyle goal? What do you wish to accomplish? What is a success for you? What is your personal value level?
As I was searching for more resources on how to determine if a business model is right for you, I found a series of videos by Mike Dillard, a multi-millionaire author of Magnetic Sponsoring, in which he explains how to choose a business model that fits your expectations and your personality.
Let’s review what he said…
STEP #1 | WHAT IS YOUR MARKET
No matter what marketing course you take, the first thing that you’ll be asked to do is to determine your industry and your target market.
What industry are you in?
What audience are you serving? What audience do you wanna talk to?
When I finally become serious about my business, I chose to serve the first-time mamas. I was pregnant with my first child and I wanted to document my experience so I could eventually help other mamas.
Since then I pivot a little bit serving high-level moms with a business. But still, I started to serve a very precise audience.
It is critical then that you do your research and learn more about your audience. Below a checklist of what you should ask yourself and do:
What are your audience’s needs?
Visit groups on Facebook and look for questions and struggles your audience might have.
Become members of those groups and start genuinely interacting
Yahoo groups, Facebook groups, Quora, Google search, Off line groups and community of moms around you, etc.
Identify common traits that your ideal customers share
What are their biggest sources of pain? What are their biggest fears? What common challenge do they face? What are their biggest desires? What information are they consuming? What products and services are they buying? What specific solutions might make their lives better?
Create your dream client avatar
And make it personal!
What’s her name? How old is she? What kind of career do they have? What is the average income range? What is their marital status? Do they have children? What kind of hobbies do they have? What are their other interests?
Write your avatar bio
From now on, every time you will share something, you will think that you are talking to that specific avatar you just created.
STEP #2 | WHAT COULD YOU DO TO SERVE YOUR MARKET
Could you create an app? Could you launch a blog? Maybe you could do network marketing?
Make a list of all the things you would be able to do to serve your market.
Let’s do it together with our example. Below a list of businesses/activities, you will be potentially able to do
you could have blog // affiliate marketing
you could be a beauty professional such as a hairstylist or an esthetician or a makeup artist
you could be a health coach
you could create and sell your own products
you could be a network marketer
you could be a nutritionist
you could be an influencer
you could create an app
etc.
STEP #3 | WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT SKILLS
Determining you current skills will help you to evaluate what we call your personal value level. More about it later on.
Your Current Skills
Ask yourself: what skills and education I have that make me unique?
Skills are different from education. I would not waste too much time on education if you were not able to make the most of the skills you learned from it.
I hear you asking, what do you mean?
Well let’s say you did a beauty school, but did not put into practice what you learned there. You might have a license that say that you can cut hair, but you have not actually used that skill, I would not write that skill on my list.
You got me?
Be honest and just attribute yourself skills that you actually master.
YOUR P.V.L.
It might be a new concept for you and it was for me not long ago.
Your P.V.L. is your personal value level. The higher, the better. “They” say that the level of your income is a direct reflection of your P.V.L.
I don’t fully agree with this last statement, but let me explain how you can calculate your P.V.L.
Competition: is there a lot of people able to do your job?
Education: Do you need special and unique skills to do it?
Leverage: How many people do you serve?
Then the calculation is easy: [ (2) x (3) ] / (1)
Quick examples?
Let’s say your are a pet sitter…
(1) Competition = a lot of people can do you job = 10
(2) Education = you don’t need a lot of education to do a good job = 1
(3) Leverage = you can serve one client at the time = 1
Your score = (1 x 1 ) / 10 = 0.1
That’s why you won’t be making millions of dollars pet-sitting.
Now, you are a surgeon…
(1) Competition = not a lot of people can do your job = 2
(2) Education = you need tons of skills and have loads of education = 10
(3) Leverage = you can serve one client at the time = 1
Your score = (1 x 10 ) / 2 = 5
That’s why you make $1M per year, but because you miss the leverage part, you don’t make $20M.
Last one example? Ok, let’s say you are a spiritual book writer
(1) Competition = not a lot of people can do your job = 3
(2) Education = you need tons of skills and have loads of education = 10
(3) Leverage = you can serve the whole planet by selling your book = 10
Your score = (10 x 10 ) / 3 = 33
You make abundance of $$
My question to you, where are you at? What is your personal value level?
STEP #4 | WHAT BUSINESS WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO RAISE CAPITAL
or take more than 12 months to start.
You know that your success won’t come over night. But with consistency, a little patience and absolutely no money, you can still become successful and make money pretty fast.
Fast being around the 12-month mark.
Here some examples of business in the wellness and health industry that won’t cost a thing and can really become successful in 12 months of consistency and / or automation:
network marketing
affiliate marketing
blog
books
information products
education / membership site (private blog)
local marketing
social media marketing
And with that list you can go ahead and choose a business that fits your income and lifestyle goals.
Ask yourself how much time you are willing to put into your new business. How much money you can invest. Knowing that, I am recommending zero to little investment here.
STEP #5 | CHOOSE A MODEL THAT FITS YOUR PERSONALITY AND LIFESTYLE GOALS
Remember we talk about your goals and ideal lifestyle. Now it is time for you to choose a model that fit both, your income goals and your wanted lifestyle.
As an example, if you wish to just work a few hours and make millions of dollars, maybe network marketing - at least at the beginning won’t be the perfect fit for you.
If you are out going and love connecting and meeting new people every single day, or if you like to host events and create nice experience for your audience, in that case network marketing might be for you.
If you are an introvert and don’t like direct sales, then blogging and affiliate marketing can be the right thing to do.
The goal here is to choose a business in which you won’t feel miserable. You want a business that makes you wake up super happy most of mornings.
When I was thinking about it last time I did a personal and professional assessment, I realize that my goal was to find a business model that will deliver a PASSIVE income.
I realized that I was okay to produce work right now to put systems in place, but eventually that I just wanted to enjoy several stream of income with the minimum work.
Less is more. I am embracing that. When you know it is possible, it all become simple.
Notice that I have not said EASY!
So, tell me, what is it?
STEP #6 | ASSESS IF THIS MODEL IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING THE KIND OF INCOME YOU WANT
The last step is a critical one. As much as you want to enjoy the process more than the results, it is still helpful to keep in mind the big picture.
So I want you to ask yourself if the business model you have chosen has the potential to make you the money you wish to make.
FINAL WORDS
I hope you find this interesting. I hope it will help you determine what type of business and person you are becoming.
I am interested in what you are doing and how you feel about this whole topic. Feel free to share your thoughts, struggles, and more.
I am also super open to discuss privately with you and help you determine a business that will fit you, your personality and your life goals perfectly.
Your turn… Tell me more.

The One Crucial Thing Network Marketers Should Remember To Build Their Profitable Business
With just a few adjustments, starting with my OWN mindset, I began to attract the RIGHT persons to me. I gain self-confidence, and in no time I increase my personal value level for my audience. Are you ready? Let’s uncover the one ESSENTIAL thing network marketers forget and that costs them their success.
Last week was the first time I heard about Mike Dillard.
Do you know him?
I had no idea who he was until I participated in an affiliate contest to promote his revised book: Magnetic Sponsoring.
Which, by the way, is an essential resource for any network marketer who wants to take their business to the NEXT level.
I spent the last few days reading the book and making adjustments to my business.
I got very inspired by what I learned because as soon as I started to implement what I am about to share with you something magical happen.
PEOPLE DON’T JOIN A COMPANY
THEY JOIN YOU!
And the same goes for your customers. They buy from you because they trust you. Not your company.
Actually, they don’t really care about your company at all.
It all becomes SO clear.
Instead of marketing the products of our respective network marketing companies, we should focus on promoting OURSELVES…
… creating a brand, the “YOU Inc.” as the author said many times in his book.
RELATED POST: HOW TO STOP SABOTAGING YOUR NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
SO HOW WE DO IT?
Have you ever wondered why some people in your company effortlessly attract loads of people into their business?
It’s because they have what we called an UNFAIR advantage.
They have already build trusted relationships. Then when their contacts see them use a product or thrive, they want to do the same.
And they join them without even questioning.
Most of us don’t. I am guilty of it.
The good news is that it is never too late to start building your beloved list. The other good news is it won’t take time before you see positive results.
STEP #1 | BUILD A LIST
As simple as it seems to be.
Your very first step is to build a list.
Does it make you feel overwhelmed already?
I get it. I was there too. I cannot tell you how many times I started, and started again my list. I lack clarity, and alignment, which costed me my success in network marketing for a long time.
My recommendation for you is very simple:
INVEST IN YOURSELF & LEARN
You have no choice.
Why?
Because your list is your business. If tomorrow your network marketing company closes its doors, you will still have a business if you have a list of valuable customers, fans, or prospects.
This is one of the most valuable skill set you can learn.
I will go even further, this is the only one you need to master when you start or grow a business. POINT!
AUTOMATION FROM THE BEGINNING
Many tools exist on the market place.
I started with Mailchimp, but I am considering changing platform as they go through changes very often. One day you have access to a feature, the next day you do not have any access anymore.
Anyway!
Email automation platform will help you build a clear list and vision. Once you have put systems in place - which may be time-consuming - the platform will work for you and make your life very easy.
You will be able to create contact forms, schedule content/emails in advance, and much more.
STEP #2 | CHERISH YOUR LIST
And build a relationship with the people on your list.
It seems obvious, right?
This might be the most challenging task to do.
So how do you do it?
Well, in a nutshell…
YOU SHOW UP!
Consistency is always key when you build a relationship, but also the biggest challenge you’ll encounter.
Think about it for a minute…
How do you feel when you need an answer or a favor from someone you have not talked to in ages?
Pretty awkward… That’s the biggest problem network marketers encounter when they build their business.
They have been asked to make a list of everyone they could think about and contact them.
It feels highly unauthentic.
I don’t know about you, but people know and feel that you have an agenda. It happens to all of us!
Remember that well written nice email you received from an old old old friend asking for a favor. How did you feel?
The same applies to your contact.
SO! Show up!
SHOW TRUE INTEREST
Before you even think of asking your list anything, show them you care.
People love talking about themselves. Ask questions!
And LISTEN to their answers.
You will see. You will learn a lot and that will help you create value for them.
SERVE THEM
And add value to their life.
Make their life easier.
Going online and looking for resources, or participating to webinars, or reading a book that has changed your life, etc., etc.
Share your learnings so they do not have to browse by themselves and waste their time when you’ve already done the job.
Does it make sense?
Last but not least…
GIVE, GIVE, GIVE BEFORE YOU RECEIVE
Do I need to add anything to that?
STEP #3 | MARKET TO YOUR LIST
And now that you know your list, you can market to them easily.
Again, GIVE GIVE GIVE before you ASK for anything!
That’s the golden rule!
Once the relationship is built, your people will trust you and will follow your lead and recommendations.
Some of them will even ask for more!
Trust the process and have FUN in the meantime.

How To Stop Sabotaging Your Network Marketing Business On Social Media
Unless you’ve been living in a cave on some rocky Tibetan peak for the past 20 years, you’ve no doubt got a social media account or two…and have seen other marketers trying their hand at social media recruiting. Some with better results than others. I have been there. Posting stories after stories showing off my DELICIOUS shakes to my followers. Have you? It took me time to be completely honest with myself and admit that it did not do any good to me nor my business.
Unless you’ve been living in a cave on some rocky Tibetan peak for the past 20 years, you’ve no doubt got a social media account or two…
…and have seen other marketers trying their hand at social media recruiting.
Some with better results than others.
I have been there. Posting stories after stories showing off my DELICIOUS shakes to my followers. Have you?
It took me time to be completely honest with myself and admit that it did not do any good to me nor my business.
I was too unauthentic and my followers just felt it. So I decided to do some research and gather the best practices to prospect and recruit online.
I was skeptical at first, but below is what I found working very very well for me.
Social Media is the most powerful way to prospect
AND grow your network marketing business.
It’s quite literally THE “gold rush” of the 21st Century!
But you have to do it RIGHT.
You have to do it without spamming, browbeating, begging, pestering, or manipulating anybody into coming to some “mysterious” home party or hotel presentation.
If you do it right, you’ll never have to face shame, rejection, or embarrassment again.
People who want to do business with you will find YOU.
If you do it right, people will select themselves INTO your business – quite literally recruiting, enrolling, and training themselves!
So, how do you do it the right way?
Follow these 5 essential steps to recruiting using social media to build your online empire…
STEP #1 | Choose your preferred social media recruiting platform
Of the nearly 5 billion people worldwide who use the Internet, almost 4 billion are active on at least one social media platform.
So which platform should you choose to start your social media recruiting?
The answer is, “it depends.”
It depends on the product or service you want to market. It depends on who your target customer is and where they are most likely to hang out online, and it depends on what your competitors are doing.
Below come the “top 5” social media platforms businesses currently use to build their brands and market themselves, with my thoughts about each of them…
Facebook is still the largest, most used social media platform by far, with well over 2.5 billion users worldwide. More than 97% of businesses use Facebook in their business-to-consumer marketing efforts because they can precisely target customers by age, occupation, interests, and geographic location. Because so many businesses are using Facebook, it might be challenging to break in, but it’s totally worth the effort.
Twitter is used by around 64% of marketers for short, informative messages and giving precise, solution-oriented messages to customers. It’s also a great platform to use during live events to engage with your followers and promote shares and retweets.
Instagram users tend to be younger – 800 million users among the millennial crowd and people younger than 24 hang out there. It tends to also be the preferred social media platform for fashion, beauty, and other businesses that would be attractive to younger women. If your brand is very visual, Instagram is a great platform to consider.
YouTube is the largest video platform worldwide, used by 46% of marketers and 1.5 billion consumers. It’s the best place to engage your fans by posting a variety of content like “how-to” videos, team trainings, product presentations, reviews, testimonials, and short, original videos that educate and entertain your followers.
LinkedIn is a bit of a sleeper in the social media prospecting arena, as it’s primarily a network for businesspeople to network with other businesspeople. It’s not a platform for direct product or opportunity pitches, but if you provide solid, high-quality professional content aimed at highly educated working professionals between 30 and 55 years old, it can be a gold mine. Most of LinkedIn’s 800 million users worldwide are looking for content about skill development, sales, and work trends.
I will add to this list Pinterest. Even more is your target market are women. Pinterest is like Google for images. There are over 200 million monthly Pinterest users worldwide, all seeking and sharing helpful, inspiring ideas on the platform. Pinterest drives 3.8 times more sales than other platforms and 87% of Pinners have purchased a product because of Pinterest.
So, if you don’t think of Pinterest as a Marketing tools to sell more, you are missing out BIG TIME.
Anyway, one of the best pieces of advice I can give you if you’re just starting out?
Focus on ONE social media platform.
Use it to develop your brand and voice and grow your fan base. Then as you create engagement, add a second, a third, or more as you gain followers and experience.
I have started over too many times to not know that what works best for me to start with is Facebook.
Why?
People are accustomed to it – Facebook makes it really easy to start getting high-quality leads within hours at a very reasonable price.
And their interface couldn’t be simpler. Once you’ve mastered Facebook, any other platform will be a breeze to set up.
And once you've reached the point where you feel comfortable with multiple platforms…
You can use your social media platforms as cross-promotion vehicles to dramatically expand your reach.
STEP #2 | Create a business presence on your chosen platform
While some people do start out with social media recruiting using their own personal profiles, I recommend starting right from the get-go with a business presence on your social media platform.
Regardless of the platform you choose, you need to be ready with a professional-quality portrait or “headshot,” a good-looking graphic banner, a punchy description or “elevator pitch” about your business and what you stand for, and a user name that reflects your business.
Facebook makes it easy to build a business page by simply finding the link that says “Create Page” and follow the prompts to identify the purpose of your page, upload a professional image and background, enter a brief description, and select your target audience including their demographics, location, and interests.
Twitter is even easier to set up. All you have to do is head over to Twitter to sign up from their home page, give them your name and phone number or email address, and wait for them to send you an activation code. Once you activate your account, just follow the prompts. Or, if you already have a personal twitter account, just edit your profile settings to include images, tag lines, and details about your business. You can start advertising in minutes.
Instagram is simple since Facebook now owns it. Set up your business Instagram account by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play, then either enter your email or tap “log in with Facebook.” From within the app, go to Settings, then “Switch to Business Account,” where you’ll complete your business profile, and again, start promoting your content within minutes.
YouTube requires you to sign in, go to “Settings,” and “Create a New Channel,” then choose “Business or Other Name.” All you need to do is provide the relevant details about your business, and “presto,” you are, as they say, “in business.”
LinkedIn distinguishes between a user profile and a LinkedIn page. The profile is for you as an individual, and the LinkedIn Page is for your business. To create a business page, just click the “Work” icon on your profile page, then click “Create a Company Page.” You’ll be asked to provide a few details and verify that you have the right to create the page, then click “Create Page.” From there, you can add detail, images, and content to promote to your followers.
If all of this sounds too complicated, don’t worry.
Each platform has detailed help and support links to walk you through the process.
And trust me, if you can create a Facebook page, everything else is easy-peasy.
STEP #3 | Build an audience
(or fan base, or group of followers)
Okay.
You’ve selected ONE social media platform to focus on.
You’ve created your business page.
Now what?
DO. NOT. PROMOTE. YOUR. BUSINESS. OR. OPPORTUNITY.
It’s not time to begin recruiting for your business on social media yet.
The first thing you have to do is to grow a group of followers/fans/audience.
How?
Simple.
ASK people to follow and support you
Follow people who you admire, who are doing what you’d like to be doing, and ask them for a follow back.
Go through your current personal fans/followers/audience and invite those who might be willing to at least visit your new page to express their opinion about it.
Invite former colleagues, co-workers, professional service providers, and business contacts to simply visit, like, or share your page. Invite SUPPORTIVE friends or family members to visit your page and share it with people they think might be interested.
Don’t. Sell. Anything.
Not yet.
Simply invite them with a simple post…
“Hey! I just created a page for my new business and I’d love for you to comment on it.”
Or…
“I’ve started a new page to feature news and information about health and wellness (or weight loss, or anti-aging skin care, or investing) and I’d love your feedback! Please feel free to follow/like/share/retweet any suggestions.”
That’s all, right at first.
Because the very first thing you have to sell people on is YOU.
How do you that?
By posting interesting, engaging content.
Not by immediately beginning to recruit on social media.
That time will come after you…
STEP #4 | Curate, create, and post interesting, engaging content
Depending on the social media platform you’ve chosen, post stories, articles, images, videos, or links to articles your followers might find interesting and valuable.
DO NOT POST YOUR LUNCH, OR DAILY SHAKE
Unless your are a chef and the information would be valuable to your followers.
Your aim is to build a community of like-minded followers.
Again, you’re not mentioning your product. You’re not mentioning your opportunity. It is still not yet time to begin openly recruiting on social media.
Instead, you’re sharing an article you found in Women’s Health about nutrition or in Forbes about the rise in small-business startups. You’re sharing a cartoon about raising kids or a joke or story about commuting.
Share a story about a friend or colleague who has done something amazing and offers your congratulations.
Share at least daily, if not 3-5x daily. Share often enough to establish a reputation of value.
When people comment, like, or share, thank them. Engage with them. Pass their valuable content along.
As you’re sharing other people’s content, you’re gathering valuable intelligence about what your audience finds worthy of liking, commenting on, or sharing.
Each social media platform has a way for you to track engagement
- the follows, likes, shares, retweets, and comments you get from each post.
It’s also going to give you valuable information about what kind of content to create yourself.
Your goal is to gather an audience, provide them value, and be SOCIAL about it.
That’s it.
And occasionally, maybe one-in-every-8 or one-in-every-10 posts, share a link to your own website or capture page to start recruiting those social media followers for your business or opportunity.
That’s where things get interesting.
STEP #5 | Advertise and promote ONLY to a warm market!
As your audience grows, you’ll learn more about them.
As you look at your engagement statistics on your chosen social media platform, you’ll start to be able to identify the kinds of posts they’re finding most valuable.
That’s when you can start creating your own content to post on your own website – available to anybody who’s willing to follow a link and either private message you or click through to your landing page and provide their contact details.
We call that kind of content a “lead magnet” – content your fans will feel is valuable enough to exchange their contact details for.
There are, of course, lots of ways to get that contact information besides creating a lead magnet.
Here are just a few:
You could sponsor a contest – your visitors have to visit an entry page and give you their details.
You could host a Facebook Live, a YouTube Live, or another live event about a topic of interest, post a link to join, and your visitors will have to provide login information.
You can buy targeted advertising, on virtually every social media network, to invite people to your lead magnet, live event, or contest.
Now, you can begin to recruit using social media.
But, you still must have tact when doing so.
Once your followers have given you their contact information, they’re now leads. They have explicitly given you permission to advertise and market to them.
They found you. You didn’t chase them.
They asked to join your list. You didn’t beg them.
You’ve given them value. You didn’t have to spam them.
They have already, clearly, expressed interest in what you have to offer.
Once you’ve turned your fans and followers into leads, you can lead them, using targeted marketing and advertising, through every step of your sales funnel – up to and including buying your products or recruiting themselves onto your team.
social media recruiting is very straightforward. It is a very simple process.
And the good news is, that once you’ve set up your first social media recruiting campaign, you can almost automate the process.
But it requires patience.
It requires persistent daily action.
It requires mastering one step at a time.
Social media recruiting requires a plan.

My Secret to Attracting Quality Prospect to my Network Marketing Business
I was curious to know how attraction marketing could help me rapidly grow my network marketing business. The promise was very appealing to me: a FREE recruiting 10-day bootcamp to learn how to use online strategies to grow my business, completely obliterate rejection, and give me a completely unfair advantage when it comes to prospecting and recruiting.
It all started a few months ago when I heard about Attraction Marketing.
Have you heard?
I was curious to know it could help me rapidly grow my network marketing business. The promise was very appealing to me: a FREE recruiting 10-day bootcamp to learn how to use online strategies to grow my business, completely obliterate rejection, and give me a completely unfair advantage when it comes to prospecting and recruiting.
Does this sound tempting to you?
First, let’s go back to where I was.
At that time, I was wasting my time and loads of money building my business the OLD way. Not saying that it is useless, I am just saying that it did not work for me.
Not only had I burnt my list of one hundred contacts in no time, but also felt very annoyed and confused about home parties and hotel meetings. I was working my ass off for little to no result.
More unbearably I was missing all my little one’s firsts. It was far from the dream home business I had in mind!
Ouch!
Have you ever seen, at some point in your network marketing career, a well-respected, already-popular, and successful person join your network marketing company and almost overnight had dozens—if not hundreds—of people join their organization?
These people seem to create “instant” success, right?
All they seem to do is make a few phone calls, send a text or two, and a bunch of people join their team—just like that!
I LEARNED THAT This is a phenomenon in network marketing I like to call the “unfair advantage” and it's crucial in attraction marketing
These “overnight success” stories might even be brand new to the network marketing industry, but I can promise you this…
These people were already successful or popular in their day-to-day life.
Perhaps they were a successful professional or upstanding citizen in their community with a positive reputation.
These people already had a following and were highly regarded by their peers.
People already knew, liked, and trusted them.
And here's why this is so important…
People follow WINNERS!
And that, believe it or not, is the basis of branding. A brand is a following, a reputation, and results.
Now, if you are just like me, you might not have had that kind of reputation or a huge network of connections when you started. In fact, MOST of us don't start out with an unfair advantage.
But imagine being able to create your own unfair advantage—even if you're at zero right now!
It's entirely possible. And it's all about leveraging attraction marketing.
Attraction marketing can help anyone, [and has certainly helped me] —regardless of their background, to create that unfair advantage.
How?
WELL, I learned that Your unfair advantage comes from building your brand using attraction marketing
It comes from investing in yourself so that you can continue growing your value. And it also comes from investing in your followers and helping them grow. This is the secret to attraction marketing.
The more you invest in yourself, the more you attract a larger following, and the more you invest in your recruits, the more they duplicate their own followings.
I'm about to walk you through the four phases I am lead through to help me create my own unfair advantage.
But before I do, here’s a little dose of reality.
When most people hear me say I can, “Help you rapidly expand your network marketing business,” they're thinking…
“Oh, they're going to show me how to attract more prospects and recruit new people now, now, now… Oh goodie… gimme, gimme, gimme.”
The mindset this response conveys is that of people expecting something for nothing.
But here’s the thing…
Whenever people with an “unfair advantage” join anything, other people follow them…
Because they've paid their dues. They've invested in themselves and they've invested in OTHERS over time.
So, when they pull the trigger on a particular opportunity, they'll have a constant flow of new people joining their business because they not only have those connections, but they've also come with the ability to continue to expand their network.
What if we could create that kind of following online, even if we are currently a nobody? The kind of following that means we would never run out of prospects — ever again.
Would that be something you'd be interested in learning?
And if I said, because you are a nobody and starting from scratch, it would likely take you six months or even a year to build a big enough online following and network capable of feeding what would quickly become a six-figure network marketing business…
So I'm telling upfront that it will take a little time to ramp things up… would that still be ok?
I mean six months to a year, is still a heck of a lot faster than it'd take to get to six figures holding home parties, home meetings, 1-on-1s and all the old school stuff… right?
Well, that is what Attraction Marketing is!
So, let me share the roadmap that is currently helping me building my six-figure brand in four phases…
First, let me make this plain: network marketing is one skillset and attraction marketing is another. You need to respect these skillsets and master them. Knowing how to train people, build community, and develop leaders are network marketing skills.
The attraction marketing skillset involves online skills to automate what can be automated and what can't be automated, at least make those activities much efficient, faster, and more leveraged.
The blending of these two skillsets is what makes attraction marketing so amazing. But you're not going to be a master of attraction marketing in two weeks, and that's ok. Besides with the evolution of the Internet, those skillsets are likely to evolve with time.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I am still on “training wheels” here, but even on “training wheels” my results have completely changed. What I love the most about it is that I can just:
Focus on learning — and mastering — just one thing
RELATED POST: How I Build My Network Marketing Using Online Strategies ONLY
And I already learned a ton such as how to attract a never-ending supply of prospects using sponsored social media posts, which, to me, is a big big deal because once those prospects engage with your posts, the attraction marketing system converts them to leads – meaning they will have submitted their contact information so I can follow-up.
That puts me leaps and bounds ahead of most traditional network marketers.
PHASE #1 | BUILD A FOLLOWING
Starting with this one critical skill – Sponsored Posts – I started the process of rapidly building my following.
Plus the cool thing is that I was able to make money from these followers (even before they join my business) because my mentors taught them about attraction marketing on my behalf and I earned commissions if they invested in any of the courses.
That’s right, that puts money back in your pocket, which helps me cover my operating costs during this initial phase.
PHASE #2 | BUILD A BRAND
In Phase 1, I’ve started to build a following.
I now have results. I now have some prospects in your network, and I’ve referred a few sales and earned commissions. Regardless of how many leads or new team members or sales I have achieved, the big win is this:
I’ve attracted people to converse and interact with me.
Yes, I'm attracting leads every single day.
Because it’s true.
This marks the beginning of building my brand, cause I am getting results and naturally, my leads want to know how I am doing it. That positions me as an attractive leader.
PHASE #3 | TAKE OVER MY LIST
I am not there yet, but here is the deal…
During this new phase, I will start taking over piece by piece, little by little, my own attraction marketing system.
The messages & value being delivered to my prospects will start coming from me, not my mentors. I will start to provide my own value to others, cause I’ll have started to figure out this attraction marketing stuff, and I will know how to help others do what I did.
I will send them emails, videos, and links to my own blog posts. I will also share whatever other useful information I create. That will help me build relationships with people. They will get to know me. I will develop a reputation for being a leader.
This is called investing in my followers, so the value of that following grows.
PHASE #4 | be the expert
Have you heard of the 80/20 rule?
You’ll spend 80% of your time and energy delivering value
And you’ll spend 20% of your time recruiting & promoting your business
No more convincing! Even now that I am on phase two, I am starting to only work with people I like!
The number of people coming into my network marketing business is actually growing steadily.
But most importantly, I am creating an asset, consisting of…
My following
My own e-mail & phone list
My own unfair advantage through social media
As my brand grows, I will enter the final phase of my Attraction Marketing Roadmap. It will happen when I discover my skills, my brand, and my results are growing so much that I can start attracting influencers – the “whales.”
Industry leaders will start seeing my content, and they will start following me. Ultimately, they will see the value of working with me and will reach out to connect.
Why?
Network marketing is a business built on timing.
If you're attracting leaders, and something is “off” about their company's financial health, management, or integrity – guess who they’ll join?
Because you’ve developed your own attraction marketing skillset, and have demonstrated results, value, and integrity, leaders will want to join you when it’s time for a change.
I've seen this happen many times because let's face it – strong leaders & good people can't control the decisions their company executives make. Often times, those decisions lead to trouble and they gotta make a big move…
FINAL WORDS
With attraction marketing, you’ll learn and grow at your own pace
It is not a race.
