How To Choose The Right Business For Your Personality

Network marketing and affiliate marketing is not for everyone. We covered that already! As much as it can be an ideal solution for people who do not have a lot of capital to invest, it is not a quick fix to make money.

Network marketing and affiliate marketing is not for everyone.

We covered that already!

As much as it can be an ideal solution for people who do not have a lot of capital to invest, it is not a quick fix to make money.

Nor a field that everyone can do, although everyone can do it because skills can be learned. It then becomes a question of preferences.

Does network marketing or affiliate marketing fit your personality? Maybe. Maybe not!

So, first thing first…

What is your income goal? What is your lifestyle goal? What do you wish to accomplish? What is a success for you? What is your personal value level?

As I was searching for more resources on how to determine if a business model is right for you, I found a series of videos by Mike Dillard, a multi-millionaire author of Magnetic Sponsoring, in which he explains how to choose a business model that fits your expectations and your personality.

Let’s review what he said…

STEP #1 | WHAT IS YOUR MARKET

No matter what marketing course you take, the first thing that you’ll be asked to do is to determine your industry and your target market.

What industry are you in?
What audience are you serving? What audience do you wanna talk to?

When I finally become serious about my business, I chose to serve the first-time mamas. I was pregnant with my first child and I wanted to document my experience so I could eventually help other mamas.

Since then I pivot a little bit serving high-level moms with a business. But still, I started to serve a very precise audience.

It is critical then that you do your research and learn more about your audience. Below a checklist of what you should ask yourself and do:

  1. What are your audience’s needs?

Visit groups on Facebook and look for questions and struggles your audience might have.

  2. Become members of those groups and start genuinely interacting

Yahoo groups, Facebook groups, Quora, Google search, Off line groups and community of moms around you, etc.

  3. Identify common traits that your ideal customers share

What are their biggest sources of pain? What are their biggest fears? What common challenge do they face? What are their biggest desires? What information are they consuming? What products and services are they buying? What specific solutions might make their lives better?

  4. Create your dream client avatar

    And make it personal!

What’s her name? How old is she? What kind of career do they have? What is the average income range? What is their marital status? Do they have children? What kind of hobbies do they have? What are their other interests?

  5. Write your avatar bio

From now on, every time you will share something, you will think that you are talking to that specific avatar you just created.

STEP #2 | WHAT COULD YOU DO TO SERVE YOUR MARKET

Could you create an app? Could you launch a blog? Maybe you could do network marketing?

Make a list of all the things you would be able to do to serve your market.

Let’s do it together with our example. Below a list of businesses/activities, you will be potentially able to do

  • you could have blog // affiliate marketing

  • you could be a beauty professional such as a hairstylist or an esthetician or a makeup artist

  • you could be a health coach

  • you could create and sell your own products

  • you could be a network marketer

  • you could be a nutritionist

  • you could be an influencer

  • you could create an app

  • etc.

STEP #3 | WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT SKILLS

Determining you current skills will help you to evaluate what we call your personal value level. More about it later on.

Your Current Skills

Ask yourself: what skills and education I have that make me unique?

Skills are different from education. I would not waste too much time on education if you were not able to make the most of the skills you learned from it.

I hear you asking, what do you mean?

Well let’s say you did a beauty school, but did not put into practice what you learned there. You might have a license that say that you can cut hair, but you have not actually used that skill, I would not write that skill on my list.

You got me?

Be honest and just attribute yourself skills that you actually master.

YOUR P.V.L.

It might be a new concept for you and it was for me not long ago.

Your P.V.L. is your personal value level. The higher, the better. “They” say that the level of your income is a direct reflection of your P.V.L.

I don’t fully agree with this last statement, but let me explain how you can calculate your P.V.L.

  1. Competition: is there a lot of people able to do your job?

  2. Education: Do you need special and unique skills to do it?

  3. Leverage: How many people do you serve?

Then the calculation is easy: [ (2) x (3) ] / (1)

Quick examples?

Let’s say your are a pet sitter…

(1) Competition = a lot of people can do you job = 10
(2) Education = you don’t need a lot of education to do a good job = 1
(3) Leverage = you can serve one client at the time = 1

Your score = (1 x 1 ) / 10 = 0.1
That’s why you won’t be making millions of dollars pet-sitting.

Now, you are a surgeon…

(1) Competition = not a lot of people can do your job = 2
(2) Education = you need tons of skills and have loads of education = 10
(3) Leverage = you can serve one client at the time = 1

Your score = (1 x 10 ) / 2 = 5
That’s why you make $1M per year, but because you miss the leverage part, you don’t make $20M.

Last one example? Ok, let’s say you are a spiritual book writer

(1) Competition = not a lot of people can do your job = 3
(2) Education = you need tons of skills and have loads of education = 10
(3) Leverage = you can serve the whole planet by selling your book = 10

Your score = (10 x 10 ) / 3 = 33
You make abundance of $$

My question to you, where are you at? What is your personal value level?

STEP #4 | WHAT BUSINESS WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO RAISE CAPITAL

or take more than 12 months to start.

You know that your success won’t come over night. But with consistency, a little patience and absolutely no money, you can still become successful and make money pretty fast.

Fast being around the 12-month mark.

Here some examples of business in the wellness and health industry that won’t cost a thing and can really become successful in 12 months of consistency and / or automation:

  • network marketing

  • affiliate marketing

  • blog

  • books

  • information products

  • education / membership site (private blog)

  • local marketing

  • social media marketing

And with that list you can go ahead and choose a business that fits your income and lifestyle goals.

Ask yourself how much time you are willing to put into your new business. How much money you can invest. Knowing that, I am recommending zero to little investment here.

STEP #5 | CHOOSE A MODEL THAT FITS YOUR PERSONALITY AND LIFESTYLE GOALS

Remember we talk about your goals and ideal lifestyle. Now it is time for you to choose a model that fit both, your income goals and your wanted lifestyle.

As an example, if you wish to just work a few hours and make millions of dollars, maybe network marketing - at least at the beginning won’t be the perfect fit for you.

If you are out going and love connecting and meeting new people every single day, or if you like to host events and create nice experience for your audience, in that case network marketing might be for you.

If you are an introvert and don’t like direct sales, then blogging and affiliate marketing can be the right thing to do.

The goal here is to choose a business in which you won’t feel miserable. You want a business that makes you wake up super happy most of mornings.

When I was thinking about it last time I did a personal and professional assessment, I realize that my goal was to find a business model that will deliver a PASSIVE income.

I realized that I was okay to produce work right now to put systems in place, but eventually that I just wanted to enjoy several stream of income with the minimum work.

Less is more. I am embracing that. When you know it is possible, it all become simple.

Notice that I have not said EASY!

So, tell me, what is it?

STEP #6 | ASSESS IF THIS MODEL IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING THE KIND OF INCOME YOU WANT

The last step is a critical one. As much as you want to enjoy the process more than the results, it is still helpful to keep in mind the big picture.

So I want you to ask yourself if the business model you have chosen has the potential to make you the money you wish to make.

FINAL WORDS

I hope you find this interesting. I hope it will help you determine what type of business and person you are becoming.

I am interested in what you are doing and how you feel about this whole topic. Feel free to share your thoughts, struggles, and more.

I am also super open to discuss privately with you and help you determine a business that will fit you, your personality and your life goals perfectly.

Your turn… Tell me more.

How To Make Your Network Marketing Business Work With Your Mom Life

I have always been a target for every network marketing opportunity out there. Even more since I became a mama! Why? Because, network marketers assume that mamas want to explore new professional opportunities as most of us don’t want to go back to work after giving birth.

I have always been a target for every network marketing opportunity out there. Even more, since I became a mama!

Why?

Because network marketers assume that mamas want to explore new professional opportunities as most of us don’t want to go back to work after giving birth.

I get it, I am one of them!

They think that we want more freedom.

  • Time freedom

  • Financial freedom

  • Best deals

  • A community of like-minded women

- just to name a few - are some of the perks that network marketing companies offer to moms.

And for most of us, they are right. But here is the thing…

Network marketing is not an easy and quick way to make money and enjoy more time freedom.

Nope!

If you want to make it work, you need to lean in. AND. WORK.

… not harder, but definitely smarter.

While I was very skeptical for a long time, I finally gave a shot and here what happened.

NOTHING!

You hear me right. Nothing happened for me during my first year in business.

I did EVERYTHING my upline told me to do, starting with my list of a hundred contacts. Guess what? No one joined. Even worst, they completely stopped to reply to my spammy messages, which by the way, I know why!

I hosted home-parties as well. You should know that I am a very private person, and I HATE having strangers at my place. BUT, I was told to, so I did it. Guess what? No one joined.

I went to hotel meetings. I drove sometimes long hours to meet someone who was not even close to sign-up.

I posted pictures of me and my AMAZING shakes every day on Social Media. I thought it was pretty cool until I receive a negative comment! I was ANNOYING!

Ouch! It was hard. I did not expect that.

I was working my ass off for little to NO results. I missed some of my son’s firsts. I could not do it anymore.

I was SAD. FRUSTRATED. UNMOTIVATED. UNINSPIRED. OVERWHELMED. DISAPPOINTED. I was everything but HAPPY nor SUCCESSFUL.

It is pretty much what most moms experience when they finally joined their network company.

But I did not give up

I am not a quitter.

Not long ago, when I was about ready to close that painful page, I found and learned a new way to build and grow my business using effective online strategies ONLY.

Like every new skillset you learn, it took a little bit of time and discipline to make it work, but it is so so worth it!

Nothing in Life is easy to get. However, it’s always SIMPLE.

One step at the time, you always go further, and it is what I did.

Little by little, I changed my mindset, build my reputation and my audience. Little by little, I saw my business grow from nothing to something.

It felt so good!

I AM NOT SAYING THAT IT IS EASY BUT IT IS SIMPLE

And so worth it. Are you ready to follow my step-by -step formula?

If so, read on!

I will tell you everything.

Below some more!

STEP #1 | I BUILD ONLINE

I build my network marketing business completely online.

Not long ago, I signed up for a FREE 10-day Bootcamp that has changed my life and my business forever. The book ATTRACTION MARKETING that I bought from them completely shift my mindset and my way to operate my business.

Big saving (72% off) if you want to get the Attraction Marketing Book that changed my life: click here!

I trusted that I was able to learn new skills to take my business online and I did it!

The best part of that program was that I started to make extra money while learning new skills that I was going to duplicate eventually with my network marketing business.

Anyway!

Before, I was spammy and overwhelmed. I was building the “old way,” by hosting home parties, going to hotel meetings, posting products and selfies on social media, sending awkward messages to strangers.

RELATED POST: How to Stop Sabotaging Your Network Marketing Business on Social Media

I honestly did it all.

IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME!

I was trying to hard to be someone else.

I was ignoring my true self.

I was unauthentic, and, let’s not BS you, I was freaking annoying with my friends and family.

I HATED EVERY PART OF MY BUSINESS

I had no fun at all.

You may know my story by now…

I was about ready to quit when I learned about Attraction Marketing.

From there, my business started to grow steadily. I receive leads and prospects while I am sleeping.

My business is working for me.

Not the other way around.

I am happy. I am having FUN building and creating value to my business.

I have more and more time freedom and financial freedom.

I freaking enjoy my mom life, my wife life, my woman life and then my business life.

I AM EMPOWERED

Below is an overview of what I have learned since I started:

  • How to attract and recruit an army of people into my Network Marketing business without so much as picking up the phone.

  • How to use the internet to put an end to rejection and frustration, and sponsor people with ease.

  • How to use email to automatically grow my prospect list, build relationships, and fatten my bank account… all in one fell swoop.

STEP #2 | I DO NOT MULTITASK

While it is easy to do many things at the same time, I choose not to.

When I am with my son and/or my husband, I am 100% present with them. My phone is away, and they have my whole attention.

When I work on my business. I am 100% committed to it.

WHEN YOU MULTITASK YOU DO NOT GIVE YOUR BEST

Your energy is spread, and you are missing your growth MOMENTUM big time.

Are you convinced already?

ORGANIZATION IS CRUCIAL

I hear you.

Organizing my day around my baby and my business needs has done wonders for me.

While not multitasking has been a game-changer for me. Organization still remain vital to make thing happen.

Again… not saying that it is easy, but it is simple.

Discipline will drive you very far.

Recently, I discover this bundle below. And so far so good. Click on the banner if you want to learn more about it, and see if it is a great fit for you.

Ultimate Productivity Bundle 2019

As said, it is not easy.

FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST

As I am writing down those lines, my baby wants to be with me. He is on my lap! I know that, right now, my attention is spread in between my beautiful baby and my business.

It takes me forever to write my words.

… I feel guilty of multitasking!

But you know what?

Life happens for everyone of us. I choose to not have a nanny right now because baby O, is too small.

Gabby Bernstein says to feel good no matter what

So I choose to feel good because as she says:

The more we feel good, the more we attract what we want.

In other words, if I feel good about it, and let go of the guilt, I am attracting more moments where I will be able to focus.

Would you agree?

STEP #3 | I HAVE A POWERFUL MORNING ROUTINE

And if I do not do it, it is harder for me to be productive during my day!

I had a small surgery not long ago, so I had to adapt my morning routine but basically, it is pretty simple.

I woke up in between 6:30 and 7 AM. I still breastfeed my son who is only 3-month old. It clearly depends on how well he sleeps.

I adapt.

The first thing I do when I open my eyes is that I sit straight in my bed, put my earplugs on and press play to my morning meditation.

Nowadays I use this one here: chapter 11 - morning meditation.

I spend 5 minutes to thank the Universe and be grateful for a new day of opportunities.

Then, I go to my studio and I do 10 rounds of vinyasa. I breathe in and out!

[I would normally work out] and SHOWER!

I would eat my energetic breakfast while watching an inspiring video, or workshop.

Note that I have not opened my inbox yet!

Only after I brush my teeth and check on my baby, I will check my emails and start replying to them, to the comments on social media, to the texts and more.

Do you have a morning routine?

One that empowers you so much that you feel empty when you skip it? I would love to hear from you and get inspired.

Also, I became obsessed with Gabby Bernstein and her super attractor. Along with the book, she released a mediation album in which you will find different types of meditations. From affirmation and mantra meditations to invoking your angels’ ones, she is like the Universe…

She has your back.

STEP #4 | I HAVE OTHER STREAMS OF INCOME

Yes, I do Network Marketing and I love it.

And it is so much fun when you do it the right way.

We talked about that already!

But I love many other things, especially writing and creating content.

So that’s naturally that I found my way to affiliate marketing.

There are three programs that I love dearly:

  • Elite marketing pro, which is a program that helps network marketers to thrive in their journey. I started with them by taking their FREE recruiting training and I ended becoming a VIP affiliate. I am having so much fun!

  • Ultimate bundles, in which you get to promote wonderful bundles. You can even submit yours and make money out of them.

  • Amazon. Everybody knows the Amazon affiliate program. It really is an easy way to get started with affiliate marketing.

All of those three programs are easy to join and do not require a huge following. If you want to learn more about them, feel free to comment below, and I will be in touch.

STEP # 5 | Every time I can I get inspired

Last but not least, I get inspired every single day.

I stopped binge-watching crappy tv shows during my lunchtime to get inspired with awesome videos.

You know what?

That brings me the most joy and energy to create new things.

I also get out of my house and take the time to be present with my son. We talk, walk and play at parks.

I come back refreshed, full of energy, motivation, and inspiration. That has no price.

What are your things to get inspired on a daily basis?

How To Stop Sabotaging Your Network Marketing Business On Social Media

Unless you’ve been living in a cave on some rocky Tibetan peak for the past 20 years, you’ve no doubt got a social media account or two…and have seen other marketers trying their hand at social media recruiting. Some with better results than others. I have been there. Posting stories after stories showing off my DELICIOUS shakes to my followers. Have you? It took me time to be completely honest with myself and admit that it did not do any good to me nor my business.

Unless you’ve been living in a cave on some rocky Tibetan peak for the past 20 years, you’ve no doubt got a social media account or two…

…and have seen other marketers trying their hand at social media recruiting.

Some with better results than others.

I have been there. Posting stories after stories showing off my DELICIOUS shakes to my followers. Have you?

It took me time to be completely honest with myself and admit that it did not do any good to me nor my business.

I was too unauthentic and my followers just felt it. So I decided to do some research and gather the best practices to prospect and recruit online.

I was skeptical at first, but below is what I found working very very well for me.

Social Media is the most powerful way to prospect

AND grow your network marketing business.

It’s quite literally THE “gold rush” of the 21st Century!

But you have to do it RIGHT.

You have to do it without spamming, browbeating, begging, pestering, or manipulating anybody into coming to some “mysterious” home party or hotel presentation.

If you do it right, you’ll never have to face shame, rejection, or embarrassment again.

People who want to do business with you will find YOU.

If you do it right, people will select themselves INTO your business – quite literally recruiting, enrolling, and training themselves!

So, how do you do it the right way?

Follow these 5 essential steps to recruiting using social media to build your online empire…

STEP #1 | Choose your preferred social media recruiting platform

Of the nearly 5 billion people worldwide who use the Internet, almost 4 billion are active on at least one social media platform.

So which platform should you choose to start your social media recruiting?

The answer is, “it depends.”

It depends on the product or service you want to market. It depends on who your target customer is and where they are most likely to hang out online, and it depends on what your competitors are doing.

Below come the “top 5” social media platforms businesses currently use to build their brands and market themselves, with my thoughts about each of them…

  1. Facebook is still the largest, most used social media platform by far, with well over 2.5 billion users worldwide. More than 97% of businesses use Facebook in their business-to-consumer marketing efforts because they can precisely target customers by age, occupation, interests, and geographic location. Because so many businesses are using Facebook, it might be challenging to break in, but it’s totally worth the effort.

  2. Twitter is used by around 64% of marketers for short, informative messages and giving precise, solution-oriented messages to customers. It’s also a great platform to use during live events to engage with your followers and promote shares and retweets.

  3. Instagram users tend to be younger – 800 million users among the millennial crowd and people younger than 24 hang out there. It tends to also be the preferred social media platform for fashion, beauty, and other businesses that would be attractive to younger women. If your brand is very visual, Instagram is a great platform to consider.

  4. YouTube is the largest video platform worldwide, used by 46% of marketers and 1.5 billion consumers. It’s the best place to engage your fans by posting a variety of content like “how-to” videos, team trainings, product presentations, reviews, testimonials, and short, original videos that educate and entertain your followers.

  5. LinkedIn is a bit of a sleeper in the social media prospecting arena, as it’s primarily a network for businesspeople to network with other businesspeople. It’s not a platform for direct product or opportunity pitches, but if you provide solid, high-quality professional content aimed at highly educated working professionals between 30 and 55 years old, it can be a gold mine. Most of LinkedIn’s 800 million users worldwide are looking for content about skill development, sales, and work trends.

I will add to this list Pinterest. Even more is your target market are women. Pinterest is like Google for images. There are over 200 million monthly Pinterest users worldwide, all seeking and sharing helpful, inspiring ideas on the platform. Pinterest drives 3.8 times more sales than other platforms and 87% of Pinners have purchased a product because of Pinterest.

So, if you don’t think of Pinterest as a Marketing tools to sell more, you are missing out BIG TIME.

Anyway, one of the best pieces of advice I can give you if you’re just starting out?

Focus on ONE social media platform.

Use it to develop your brand and voice and grow your fan base. Then as you create engagement, add a second, a third, or more as you gain followers and experience.

I have started over too many times to not know that what works best for me to start with is Facebook.

Why?

People are accustomed to it – Facebook makes it really easy to start getting high-quality leads within hours at a very reasonable price.

And their interface couldn’t be simpler. Once you’ve mastered Facebook, any other platform will be a breeze to set up.

And once you've reached the point where you feel comfortable with multiple platforms…

You can use your social media platforms as cross-promotion vehicles to dramatically expand your reach.

STEP #2 | Create a business presence on your chosen platform

While some people do start out with social media recruiting using their own personal profiles, I recommend starting right from the get-go with a business presence on your social media platform.

Regardless of the platform you choose, you need to be ready with a professional-quality portrait or “headshot,” a good-looking graphic banner, a punchy description or “elevator pitch” about your business and what you stand for, and a user name that reflects your business.

  • Facebook makes it easy to build a business page by simply finding the link that says “Create Page” and follow the prompts to identify the purpose of your page, upload a professional image and background, enter a brief description, and select your target audience including their demographics, location, and interests.

  • Twitter is even easier to set up. All you have to do is head over to Twitter to sign up from their home page, give them your name and phone number or email address, and wait for them to send you an activation code. Once you activate your account, just follow the prompts. Or, if you already have a personal twitter account, just edit your profile settings to include images, tag lines, and details about your business. You can start advertising in minutes.

  • Instagram is simple since Facebook now owns it. Set up your business Instagram account by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play, then either enter your email or tap “log in with Facebook.” From within the app, go to Settings, then “Switch to Business Account,” where you’ll complete your business profile, and again, start promoting your content within minutes.

  • YouTube requires you to sign in, go to “Settings,” and “Create a New Channel,” then choose “Business or Other Name.” All you need to do is provide the relevant details about your business, and “presto,” you are, as they say, “in business.”

  • LinkedIn distinguishes between a user profile and a LinkedIn page. The profile is for you as an individual, and the LinkedIn Page is for your business. To create a business page, just click the “Work” icon on your profile page, then click “Create a Company Page.” You’ll be asked to provide a few details and verify that you have the right to create the page, then click “Create Page.” From there, you can add detail, images, and content to promote to your followers.

If all of this sounds too complicated, don’t worry.

Each platform has detailed help and support links to walk you through the process.

And trust me, if you can create a Facebook page, everything else is easy-peasy.

STEP #3 | Build an audience

(or fan base, or group of followers)

Okay.

You’ve selected ONE social media platform to focus on.

You’ve created your business page.

Now what?

DO. NOT. PROMOTE. YOUR. BUSINESS. OR. OPPORTUNITY.

It’s not time to begin recruiting for your business on social media yet.

The first thing you have to do is to grow a group of followers/fans/audience.

How?

Simple.

ASK people to follow and support you

Follow people who you admire, who are doing what you’d like to be doing, and ask them for a follow back.

Go through your current personal fans/followers/audience and invite those who might be willing to at least visit your new page to express their opinion about it.

Invite former colleagues, co-workers, professional service providers, and business contacts to simply visit, like, or share your page. Invite SUPPORTIVE friends or family members to visit your page and share it with people they think might be interested.

Don’t. Sell. Anything.

Not yet.

Simply invite them with a simple post…

“Hey! I just created a page for my new business and I’d love for you to comment on it.”

Or…

“I’ve started a new page to feature news and information about health and wellness (or weight loss, or anti-aging skin care, or investing) and I’d love your feedback! Please feel free to follow/like/share/retweet any suggestions.”

That’s all, right at first.

Because the very first thing you have to sell people on is YOU.

How do you that?

By posting interesting, engaging content.

Not by immediately beginning to recruit on social media.

That time will come after you…

STEP #4 | Curate, create, and post interesting, engaging content

Depending on the social media platform you’ve chosen, post stories, articles, images, videos, or links to articles your followers might find interesting and valuable.

DO NOT POST YOUR LUNCH, OR DAILY SHAKE

Unless your are a chef and the information would be valuable to your followers.

Your aim is to build a community of like-minded followers.

Again, you’re not mentioning your product. You’re not mentioning your opportunity. It is still not yet time to begin openly recruiting on social media.

Instead, you’re sharing an article you found in Women’s Health about nutrition or in Forbes about the rise in small-business startups. You’re sharing a cartoon about raising kids or a joke or story about commuting.

Share a story about a friend or colleague who has done something amazing and offers your congratulations.

Share at least daily, if not 3-5x daily. Share often enough to establish a reputation of value.

When people comment, like, or share, thank them. Engage with them. Pass their valuable content along.

As you’re sharing other people’s content, you’re gathering valuable intelligence about what your audience finds worthy of liking, commenting on, or sharing.

Each social media platform has a way for you to track engagement

- the follows, likes, shares, retweets, and comments you get from each post.

It’s also going to give you valuable information about what kind of content to create yourself.

Your goal is to gather an audience, provide them value, and be SOCIAL about it.

That’s it.

And occasionally, maybe one-in-every-8 or one-in-every-10 posts, share a link to your own website or capture page to start recruiting those social media followers for your business or opportunity.

That’s where things get interesting.

STEP #5 | Advertise and promote ONLY to a warm market!

As your audience grows, you’ll learn more about them.

As you look at your engagement statistics on your chosen social media platform, you’ll start to be able to identify the kinds of posts they’re finding most valuable.

That’s when you can start creating your own content to post on your own website – available to anybody who’s willing to follow a link and either private message you or click through to your landing page and provide their contact details.

We call that kind of content a “lead magnet” – content your fans will feel is valuable enough to exchange their contact details for.

There are, of course, lots of ways to get that contact information besides creating a lead magnet.

Here are just a few:

  • You could sponsor a contest – your visitors have to visit an entry page and give you their details.

  • You could host a Facebook Live, a YouTube Live, or another live event about a topic of interest, post a link to join, and your visitors will have to provide login information.

  • You can buy targeted advertising, on virtually every social media network, to invite people to your lead magnet, live event, or contest.

Now, you can begin to recruit using social media.

But, you still must have tact when doing so.

Once your followers have given you their contact information, they’re now leads. They have explicitly given you permission to advertise and market to them.

They found you. You didn’t chase them.

They asked to join your list. You didn’t beg them.

You’ve given them value. You didn’t have to spam them.

They have already, clearly, expressed interest in what you have to offer.

Once you’ve turned your fans and followers into leads, you can lead them, using targeted marketing and advertising, through every step of your sales funnel – up to and including buying your products or recruiting themselves onto your team.

social media recruiting is very straightforward. It is a very simple process.

And the good news is, that once you’ve set up your first social media recruiting campaign, you can almost automate the process.

But it requires patience.

It requires persistent daily action.

It requires mastering one step at a time.
