My Secret to Attracting Quality Prospect to my Network Marketing Business

I was curious to know how attraction marketing could help me rapidly grow my network marketing business. The promise was very appealing to me: a FREE recruiting 10-day bootcamp to learn how to use online strategies to grow my business, completely obliterate rejection, and give me a completely unfair advantage when it comes to prospecting and recruiting.

It all started a few months ago when I heard about Attraction Marketing.

Have you heard?

I was curious to know it could help me rapidly grow my network marketing business. The promise was very appealing to me: a FREE recruiting 10-day bootcamp to learn how to use online strategies to grow my business, completely obliterate rejection, and give me a completely unfair advantage when it comes to prospecting and recruiting.

Does this sound tempting to you?

First, let’s go back to where I was.

At that time, I was wasting my time and loads of money building my business the OLD way. Not saying that it is useless, I am just saying that it did not work for me.

Not only had I burnt my list of one hundred contacts in no time, but also felt very annoyed and confused about home parties and hotel meetings. I was working my ass off for little to no result.

More unbearably I was missing all my little one’s firsts. It was far from the dream home business I had in mind!

Ouch!

Have you ever seen, at some point in your network marketing career, a well-respected, already-popular, and successful person join your network marketing company and almost overnight had dozens—if not hundreds—of people join their organization?

These people seem to create “instant” success, right?

All they seem to do is make a few phone calls, send a text or two, and a bunch of people join their team—just like that!

I LEARNED THAT This is a phenomenon in network marketing I like to call the “unfair advantage” and it's crucial in attraction marketing

These “overnight success” stories might even be brand new to the network marketing industry, but I can promise you this…

  • These people were already successful or popular in their day-to-day life.

  • Perhaps they were a successful professional or upstanding citizen in their community with a positive reputation.

  • These people already had a following and were highly regarded by their peers.

  • People already knew, liked, and trusted them.

And here's why this is so important…

People follow WINNERS!

And that, believe it or not, is the basis of branding. A brand is a following, a reputation, and results.

Now, if you are just like me, you might not have had that kind of reputation or a huge network of connections when you started. In fact, MOST of us don't start out with an unfair advantage.

But imagine being able to create your own unfair advantage—even if you're at zero right now!

It's entirely possible. And it's all about leveraging attraction marketing.

Attraction marketing can help anyone, [and has certainly helped me] —regardless of their background, to create that unfair advantage.

How?

WELL, I learned that Your unfair advantage comes from building your brand using attraction marketing

It comes from investing in yourself so that you can continue growing your value. And it also comes from investing in your followers and helping them grow. This is the secret to attraction marketing.

The more you invest in yourself, the more you attract a larger following, and the more you invest in your recruits, the more they duplicate their own followings.

I'm about to walk you through the four phases I am lead through to help me create my own unfair advantage.

But before I do, here’s a little dose of reality.

When most people hear me say I can, “Help you rapidly expand your network marketing business,” they're thinking…

“Oh, they're going to show me how to attract more prospects and recruit new people now, now, now… Oh goodie… gimme, gimme, gimme.”

The mindset this response conveys is that of people expecting something for nothing.

But here’s the thing…

Whenever people with an “unfair advantage” join anything, other people follow them…

Because they've paid their dues. They've invested in themselves and they've invested in OTHERS over time.

So, when they pull the trigger on a particular opportunity, they'll have a constant flow of new people joining their business because they not only have those connections, but they've also come with the ability to continue to expand their network.

What if we could create that kind of following online, even if we are currently a nobody? The kind of following that means we would never run out of prospects — ever again.

Would that be something you'd be interested in learning?

And if I said, because you are a nobody and starting from scratch, it would likely take you six months or even a year to build a big enough online following and network capable of feeding what would quickly become a six-figure network marketing business…

So I'm telling upfront that it will take a little time to ramp things up… would that still be ok?

I mean six months to a year, is still a heck of a lot faster than it'd take to get to six figures holding home parties, home meetings, 1-on-1s and all the old school stuff… right?

Well, that is what Attraction Marketing is!

So, let me share the roadmap that is currently helping me building my six-figure brand in four phases…

First, let me make this plain: network marketing is one skillset and attraction marketing is another. You need to respect these skillsets and master them. Knowing how to train people, build community, and develop leaders are network marketing skills.

The attraction marketing skillset involves online skills to automate what can be automated and what can't be automated, at least make those activities much efficient, faster, and more leveraged.

The blending of these two skillsets is what makes attraction marketing so amazing. But you're not going to be a master of attraction marketing in two weeks, and that's ok. Besides with the evolution of the Internet, those skillsets are likely to evolve with time.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am still on “training wheels” here, but even on “training wheels” my results have completely changed. What I love the most about it is that I can just:

Focus on learning — and mastering — just one thing

RELATED POST: How I Build My Network Marketing Using Online Strategies ONLY

And I already learned a ton such as how to attract a never-ending supply of prospects using sponsored social media posts, which, to me, is a big big deal because once those prospects engage with your posts, the attraction marketing system converts them to leads – meaning they will have submitted their contact information so I can follow-up.

That puts me leaps and bounds ahead of most traditional network marketers.

PHASE #1 | BUILD A FOLLOWING

Starting with this one critical skill – Sponsored Posts – I started the process of rapidly building my following.

Plus the cool thing is that I was able to make money from these followers (even before they join my business) because my mentors taught them about attraction marketing on my behalf and I earned commissions if they invested in any of the courses.

That’s right, that puts money back in your pocket, which helps me cover my operating costs during this initial phase.

PHASE #2 | BUILD A BRAND

In Phase 1, I’ve started to build a following.

I now have results. I now have some prospects in your network, and I’ve referred a few sales and earned commissions. Regardless of how many leads or new team members or sales I have achieved, the big win is this:

I’ve attracted people to converse and interact with me.

Yes, I'm attracting leads every single day.

Because it’s true.

This marks the beginning of building my brand, cause I am getting results and naturally, my leads want to know how I am doing it. That positions me as an attractive leader.

PHASE #3 | TAKE OVER MY LIST

I am not there yet, but here is the deal…

During this new phase, I will start taking over piece by piece, little by little, my own attraction marketing system.

The messages & value being delivered to my prospects will start coming from me, not my mentors. I will start to provide my own value to others, cause I’ll have started to figure out this attraction marketing stuff, and I will know how to help others do what I did.

I will send them emails, videos, and links to my own blog posts. I will also share whatever other useful information I create. That will help me build relationships with people. They will get to know me. I will develop a reputation for being a leader.

This is called investing in my followers, so the value of that following grows.

PHASE #4 | be the expert

Have you heard of the 80/20 rule?

  • You’ll spend 80% of your time and energy delivering value

  • And you’ll spend 20% of your time recruiting & promoting your business

No more convincing! Even now that I am on phase two, I am starting to only work with people I like!

The number of people coming into my network marketing business is actually growing steadily.

But most importantly, I am creating an asset, consisting of…

  • My following

  • My own e-mail & phone list

  • My own unfair advantage through social media

As my brand grows, I will enter the final phase of my Attraction Marketing Roadmap. It will happen when I discover my skills, my brand, and my results are growing so much that I can start attracting influencers – the “whales.”

Industry leaders will start seeing my content, and they will start following me. Ultimately, they will see the value of working with me and will reach out to connect.

Why?

Network marketing is a business built on timing.

If you're attracting leaders, and something is “off” about their company's financial health, management, or integrity – guess who they’ll join?

Because you’ve developed your own attraction marketing skillset, and have demonstrated results, value, and integrity, leaders will want to join you when it’s time for a change.

I've seen this happen many times because let's face it – strong leaders & good people can't control the decisions their company executives make. Often times, those decisions lead to trouble and they gotta make a big move…

FINAL WORDS

With attraction marketing, you’ll learn and grow at your own pace

Why Building Your Brand Online is Essential For Your Network Marketing Business

I was sharing with my friend, Rob Sperry, something really perplexing I had heard another network marketing top earner has said at a company event. What he had said got me thinking about the bad advice distributors are getting from their uplines about growing their businesses online.

[GUEST POST written by Ferny CEBALLOS For Elite Marketing Pro]

I was sharing with my friend, Rob Sperry, something really perplexing I had heard another network marketing top earner has said at a company event. What he had said got me thinking about the bad advice distributors are getting from their uplines about growing their businesses online.

What was said was repeated over and over again like a mantra…

“Build your business, not your brand.”

I knew where this advice was coming from since many in the crowd had been building their business online and not exactly following the recommendations of the organization and it was essentially an attempt at warning people against not listening to their upline.

As I told the story, Rob jumped and said to me “I heard that too! I know exactly what you’re referring to!”

We both agreed that this was terrible advice. (And I’ll explain why in a second.)

That being said, it’s one thing to disagree with people in our profession. Happens all the time. People don’t always agree with me! Agreeing to disagree is one of the hallmarks of a civil society.

But the REALLY PERPLEXING part is that this was coming from someone who grew their business online. Who had built a big online brand; Who sells courses online, holds seminars, speaks at events worldwide, and has a big social media following.

This was very much a case of…

“Do as I say, not as I do.”

So if you've been trying to figure out ways of growing an online business, because old-school methods like home parties and hotel meetings are not working, here's what it actually means to “build a brand” and why the above advice is so terrible.

YOUR BRAND IS YOUR BUSINESS

It's simple: every action you take in your business results in either…

  • Being more likable, or less likable

  • Having more credibility, or less credibility

  • Improving your reputation, or trashing it

  • Being memorable, or forgettable

Think about this: every person you talk to, you either leave them with a good impression or a bad impression.

So if someone chooses to never talk to you again, because they think you're creepy and weird after you tried to prospect them at a mall, then…

That's your brand, in their eyes!

So with every action, you're affecting your public image and your relationships in the world — which, in turn, all affect your brand.

And you can accelerate things by choosing to grow your business online because social media allows you to make an impact quicker, more efficiently, and with more leverage.

Using methods we teach here at Elite Marketing Pro, you can reach out and connect with far more people than you EVER could with face-to-face prospecting or having home meetings.

The upside is that your business can impact significantly more people by building online.

The downside is that if you are doing it wrong or in a sleazy way, you can destroy your reputation and the reputation of network marketing that much faster!

A lot of people don't know how to go about growing an online business (without being annoying!)

Many distributors take the same awkward, repulsive recruiting strategies they've been taught to do offline and make the problems worse online.

In the end, this ends up ruining their reputation, and they continue to produce zero results!

They're just doing social media recruiting all wrong.

They come off “salesy” and pushy, and before too long, people block them on social media.

Okay, so think about that for a second: what are they doing?

Well, they're building their brand, just not in a good way.

Their brand is being defined as a “spammer.”

They are now that guy that people need to unfriend or block on social media.

That, at the end of the day in the context of business, is building a brand.

Thus my original point…

YOU CAN BUILD A NEGATIVE BRAND OR A POSITIVE BRAND

It simply depends on how you conduct yourself.

If you approach building your business in a selfish and aggressive way, then your brand will be damaged and you'll still get poor results, which is important because…

The results you produce in your business also affect your credibility.

And as you grow online and your business creates more results, those results become a part of your brand since you are now associated with success.

Conversely, if you constantly creep people out and fail to create results, then that will be your brand and how you're known to people: “the failure who keeps annoying us with his pyramid thing”.

This is especially true if you're growing an online business and interacting with other network marketers. You will become known as that guy or that girl who does network marketing all wrong and doesn't know what they are doing.

On the flipside, 3-4 years into my network marketing career, I had personally recruited THREE 7-figure earners into my downline because my BRAND as “Ferny Ceballos” represented “online building”, “traffic”, “trust”, “results,” and just being “a good guy”.

That was attractive to them at a time when they were looking for a new Network Marketing company.

No doubt I've made mistakes, but my overall body of work made me attractive enough to them as a sponsor that they approached me!

Now before I give you the complete formula for the “magic branding pixie dust” which helped me recruit these three 7-figure titans, here's what a brand isn't…

YOUR BRAND IS NOT A BUNCH OF PRETTY PICTURES!

…or motivational quotes, or any of that stuff.

Your brand is all about the results you're producing, the actions you're taking, and the people you are affecting.

So even if you're doing Facebook Lives, if you're doing them wrong, then they're a big waste of time and won't do anything to serve your brand.

So you've got to be strategic with your message.

Returning to the terrible advice many distributors are being given…

“Build your business, not your brand.”

I think this advice is actually trying to get people to do this (equally terrible)…

Build your company's brand, not your personal brand.

But here's the thing:

Promoting your brand and your following VS the company's products and the company's opportunity should not be in conflict.

In fact, by now you may have heard the VERY GOOD advice from leaders that GET IT…

You should NOT lead with your company's products and your company's name on social media.

Rather…

People shouldn't even be able to figure out which company you're with

…from your social media profile.

And why is that?

Because people join people and people buy from people in this profession.

Your brand is not this big intangible idea.

In addition to being likable and trustworthy…

Your brand is based on what people think you can do for them.

If you're perceived as someone who can help people achieve their goals or solve a problem in their life, that means you are building a positive brand and people will want to join you or buy from you.

That ultimately serves the interest of the company, by helping you make more sales on their behalf.

On the other hand, when you post stuff about your company & products, in lieu of developing your brand, you are diminishing the role you play in the eyes of your followers.

Remember, people can literally go search the company name on Google without talking to you and buy the product from someone else or even join someone else.

By posting about your company, you are saying the company plays a bigger role in helping them than you do.

You're just a salesperson – an unimportant commodity – they don't need. In fact, if you are perceived as a salesperson, you are repelling your prospects!

Or they will read a bunch of negative stuff on Google and not want to talk to you.

Obviously, in a business that relies on trust and relationships, the prospect NEEDS YOU.

There is a time & place to talk about the company, but that's only when you present the product or opportunity to someone. Not when you are prospecting or marketing in public.

Create a little mystery and curiosity by focusing on what you can do for people or help them with.

And if you haven't figured it out already, all these lessons apply to building OFFLINE as well as ONLINE.

DO NOT diminish the critical role you play as an advisor and expert in the eyes of your prospect.

Great networkers position themselves as advisors (not salespeople) who can help others get what they want.

Now, the reason I prefer growing a business online is this…

“OLD SCHOOL” METHODS MAKE TRUE BUSINESS-BUILDING NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE IF YOU’RE A BUSY PERSON

For instance, think about the time it takes to do a single home meeting.

If I do one home meeting — if I'm lucky — I might have 5 people there.

And most of the time, if I'm doing home meetings, I'm doing maybe two, three a week at most.

Now, think about the investment of time, one evening, 12 prospects, maybe 1 joins…

Or if you're going to spend a couple of hours doing 1-on-1's!

That's an even more inefficient way of doing things.

And think about it this way…

During that SAME two hours, you're meeting with somebody at a coffee shop or conducting a home meeting…

You could expose your business on the Internet to at least twelve people!

Meaning you talked to them about what you can help them accomplish, and you referred them directly into whatever presentation process for enrolling them as a customer or new team member.

So, the choice is this…

Introduce the business to one or two people…or 12 people…every two hours… any time of day?

Which one would you choose?

And that's basically all we're doing here at Elite Marking Pro, we're teaching people how to connect with a lot more people, faster.

We teach how to brand on a mass scale where you can…

  • Reach literally millions of people.

  • Scale your business to whatever heights you want.

  • Build a brand that extends beyond your network marketing business.

  • Create multiple streams of income (if you want).

  • Recruit en masse.

Using our methods, with an online presentation, you can basically enroll a few hundred or even a few thousand people in one evening, once you've built your brand to that level. By using our lessons, you can start growing a business online that will start building your business automatically.

Yes, it takes a little time to learn the skillsets, but that's what we do here at Elite Marketing Pro.

Three Strategies to Build Your Network Marketing Online and Start Attracting Leads Massively

Are you tired of prospecting friends and family? Tired of doing home meetings, cold calls, and chasing after everyone you meet? Are you sick of being accused of peddling some “pyramid thing?”

Are you tired of prospecting friends and family? Tired of doing home meetings, cold calls, and chasing after everyone you meet? Are you sick of being accused of peddling some “pyramid thing?”

If you said yes to any of those questions, then you're ready to take your network marketing into the 21st century and build your business online, just like I do.

Let me explain…

Seven months into my network marketing business, I had recruited 2 people into my business and ALL of them had quit! I was working hard for no results at all. I could not do it anymore. I was pregnant and that was not the dream life I imagine for my son and I.

I had held home meetings at my house, friend's houses, stranger's houses, attended company events, and regional events. After hundreds of miles driven, a lot of $$ in the hole, and loads of hours working hard, I was about ready to quit.

It was pretty embarrassing as well and I absolutely DID NOT want to face the “I told you so” from anyone, so I took a leap of faith and started searching the Internet for answers!

I found the website of someone who had built his network marketing empire almost completely online and thus began my journey into Online Network Marketing. I was saved!

Long story short, after proving to myself that I could build a profitable business while enjoying and watching my son grow most of my time, I thank whoever is up there for the online mentors I've grown with because they literally saved my life as a mama and as an entrepreneur!

Today, as my mentors did with me, I devote some of my time showing moms, like you, how you can take your network marketing business online and let go of everything you don't like about building the old school way.

Now, if you want to build your network marketing business online, here's what you need to know…

First of all, the benefits are YYYYUUUGE!

  • You can generate fresh, qualified leads from wherever (and whenever) you please.

  • You can end rejection forever by only talking to people who are highly interested in your offer.

  • You don't need to drive long hours, your startup costs are low, and your business works for you 24/7—without you ever having to pick up the phone!

The best part is that you don't need to be “techie” or particularly good with computers to get started.

There are three steps required to take your business online, starting with…

RELATED POST: Facebook Fan Page vs Personal Profile for Building My Network Marketing Business

  1. Mindset

Now, I know people have different attitudes as far as personal development and mindset goes. But my advice is pretty practical.

First, you must get comfortable with the unknown. Basically, you need to be present and respect the journey. Know that you're not going to learn everything you need all at once, in one fell swoop. When you go online, you're learning a whole new skillset. Almost a new profession.

Think of it…

When you learn a new profession, what do you usually do?

Well, you go to school for four years. We're not going to have you do that, and it probably shouldn't take four years, anyway. However, if there was a school of building a business online, it probably would take a few months to get through all the coursework, so be prepared for a learning curve. Don’t try to learn everything at once.

Just focus on what's in front of you. Master that, implement it, and then move on. You have to get comfortable with not knowing what's ahead. There's always going to be a new technology that you don't know about and new skills that you have to acquire.

Keep that in mind and expect the unknown. But the other issue is a biggie and comes up often: It's the ability to overcome adversity and not give up.

By going online…

Do certain parts of building your business become easier?

Yes!

That's the purpose of going online—to create more efficiency, so you're not doing things that either waste time or you simply don't like doing.

  • So no more driving around town to get from point A to point B.

  • No more meeting people one-on-one.

  • And no more following up over and over after they've seen “the plan.”

However, you are still going to face adversity. You're still going to hit roadblocks and get stuck. If you're somebody that easily gives up when you encounter those types of things, then don't even try to build your network marketing business.

You have to respect the new skills you're learning

And be willing to face the tough times. Respect means when you actually get stuck, you don't easily give up.

You push through and become resourceful. An important part of the equation is knowing where to go to find answers or knowing who to ask to find answers (more on this later). This is vital to your success.

The last thing is…

You've got to overcome peer-pressure

There are people that are not going to approve of you doing something different from what they recommend within the company. Maybe someone in your up-line doesn't want you to explore other methods. That's normal.

It's normal for people who have not built their business this way to have a negative attitude. Human beings fear the unknown which is why the first thing I told you was: master the unknown.

It's natural for people to fear what they don't know

Not only is it natural to fear the unknown, but it's also natural to attack it too. Know that if your up-line—even if they have a massive downline—haven't built a business online, then they're talking about something they don’t truly understand.

Building a business online is completely different than building it offline. It requires different methods and an entirely different skill set. Building offline is something you can admire and appreciate—and I certainly do—and respect anyone that's done it. But if a leader hasn't done anything online, and they're talking ‘smack' about it, then they have no credibility in my book.

Respect them, but don’t give in to their doubt and fear. But in today's day and age, more and more leaders in the network marketing space are starting to accept that you can actually build on social media and use Internet marketing. The proof is in the pudding.

You see people everywhere who are successfully building online. The proof is all around you.

You don't need the approval of anyone else

Move forward no matter what others say to you. My community provides a lot of support as it relates to this, and they can offer you advice based on your personal situation. I’ll tell you how to receive more information at the end of this article.

This sums up the mindset:

  • Master the unknown.

  • Learn how to overcome adversity (and not be a weenie).

  • Learn to overcome peer pressure.

Those three things will come up, but now you can be prepared.

The next thing you need is a…

2. Practical blueprint

You need an implementation blueprint. Something you can reference along the way. And there are primarily two different ways that you can build your network marketing business online.

First, there's the…

Active social media recruiting

…which you can actually implement right away. With social media recruiting, you honestly don't have to learn much of anything.

All you need is a personal account on Facebook (no website required), and some sort of process—maybe provided by your up-line or somebody in your company—on how to present your opportunity and convert prospects into either buyers or new reps. You only need to know where to take them, and how to process them.

You can start implementing social media recruiting strategies today to build your network marketing business. In fact, this strategy is basically equitable to what you'd do offline, except you're transposing the process online.

The challenge with social media is you're always busy…

  • You're always posting.

  • You're always engaging.

  • You're always interacting with people.

It produces results quickly (and it can produce massive results), and you can duplicate it quickly, but it's time-intensive. Most of the time… People will move beyond simple social media recruiting stuff because they want to create more leverage in their business and to free up more of their time.

And that's what Elite Marketing Pro have been teaching me and other network marketers for the past ten years.

Speaking of which, if you're ready to move forward now with building your business using “attraction marketing,” I’d like to invite you to sign up for the FREE 10-Day Online Recruiting Bootcamp, where you’ll gain the knowledge to create an automated selling and prospecting system to attract highly-interested prospects to your product or opportunity online.

The next level of social media is…

Passive social media recruiting

…which is about posting valuable content or information that inspires people to reach out to you and ask you what you're doing. In fact, a lot of the students are generating dozens of prospects reaching out to them, asking…

“What are you doing? I want to learn more!”

I prefer to start the conversation with somebody when they're reaching out. They are coming to you—instead of the other way around. Then you're able to create leverage and scale.

All the things you normally would do with social media you're now able to scale and accelerate your results. For this, you're going to need a Facebook Business Page (aka a Fan Page) and a training and lead generation system like what Elite Marketing Pro has provided me.

The idea is for people to reach out to you by going to your website and submitting their information, which can happen 24/7 (while you're sleeping or at the beach). They'll do this in exchange for valuable information you’ve promised to give them. They are then automatically sent all the information they need to get familiar with your business, and we provide all the tools to allow you to do this in no time!

By the time you get on the phone, they're 90% sold!

You only answer a few questions, and they're ready to get started. It’s all automatic. That's what a “funnel” does. This is how you can passively have prospects come into your business, every single day. This allows you to take people that are brand new and fresh and walk them through a presentation in an automated way.

That's essentially what I’m talking about with passive recruiting strategies (which is also referred to as “attraction marketing”).

Now, for the final piece, which is…

3. mentorship

It would be very difficult for me to do everything I just described without some personal one-on-one help. Think about it, when you started in network marketing offline, somebody showed you the next steps to take. The same is true with building your business online:

You need someone to show you a step-by-step blueprint. Thus, when you become a customer or client of Elite Marketing Pro, you receive free one-on-one coaching to ensure you get started right.

I know it's overwhelming when you're brand new. My mentor walks me through everything step-by-step (so I don't waste time) and tell me if I am doing things correctly or not.

This immediate feedback means…

I never feel insecure about not being sure what to do next

Or not sure if what you did is correct.

And hey, I know how powerful this is from personal experience.

When I first got started, I spent a lot of $$ trying to build my business without mentorship. It was pretty costly, to say the least.

However, once I got the mentorship I needed, it put me on the fast track to achieving results.

I have now the power to choose to be Oscar’s mom first. If I did it, I believe you can do it too, but…

You have to make the commitment and start with the first step

So if you're ready to take that first step but unsure of just how to begin building your business online, then I highly recommend you learn more about Elite Marketing Pro by signing up for the FREE 10-Day Online Recruiting Bootcamp.

It's a video course where you will be walked through taking your business online using the attraction marketing strategy Elite Marketing Pro is known for.

Because while it is possible to build your network marketing business offline, the way they will teach you is more efficient and allows you to create income quickly, all from your laptop.

And just like the information that changed my life, it can change your life as well.
